Turinglab
2019

Turinglab·Led design for an EdTech platform that teaches young people to code. Over a six-week sprint with the founders I redesigned the experience end-to-end — tutorials, challenges, the in-browser code editor, and the student dashboard.

The platform splits learning across reading, practising, and doing — each with different rules for how the editor behaves and how work is marked. I prototyped two competing models for the core learning loop, then tested both with school students in the UK and Oman to pick between them. Pathways, achievements, and the skill tree all took shape from what came out of those sessions.

Turinglab UI components

The redesign carried Turinglab through a critical client visit to Oman, where the prototypes tested well with students and only a handful of small refinements were needed before shipping.

I would 100% recommend Robin to anyone looking for help with UX & UI. He uniquely understood what we needed for our project — the degree of complexity required, meeting deadlines, and budget.
