Heineken·Designed a gifting app for Heineken that let you send a friend a pint over WhatsApp. The client came to me with an MVP that wasn't converting. People landed on the campaign, got partway through the flow, and didn't finish. The concept was great but the journey wasn't.

I redesigned both halves of the product. On the purchase side, I split the sender and receiver into separate flows so each person only sees what's relevant to them, and rebuilt the checkout around the gift card itself — the thing being sent.

On the redemption side, I worked through the in-bar moment in detail: the timer, the swipe between brands, the bartender's view. Aligning the digital steps with the physical handoff was where most of the friction lived.

Visually I leaned into the idea that the app itself should feel like a pint — golden yellows, frothy whites, a bit of cheek in the copy. Built out the gift card occasions, the email and WhatsApp templates, and the marketing site so the campaign and the product spoke with one voice.
